Gonvarri Material Handling has acquired “Lampe Lagertechnik GmbH”, a German engineering company offering market expertise in sales, design and project management of automation projects by providing Mini Load, Mini Shuttle and Crane Racking solutions to system integrators.
The company has been founded by Klaus Lampe 19 years ago and is headquartered in Wiehl, Germany. Going ahead, Lampe Lagertechnik will be run by Karl-Heinz Wiedenhorst, who has served as the company’s MD already since 2014 and comes with 23 years of broad experience in the German automation market.
Lampe Lagertechnik will become an affiliate to Dexion GmbH and will be part of the GMH Automation team with a clear focus on the German market. With the acquisition of Lampe Lagertechnik, GMH will reinforce automation sales, engineering and project management competence and take a further step ahead in becoming a key player on the European Automation market.
